I lurk, don't post. Malibu will be gone by the weekend. I am not doign the lower intake manifold gasket again. Selling to a friend and putting money away to get tires for hte Jeep.

At least a couple of times a week....

Took apart my fuel rail last weekend looking for trouble and found at least one 'grass clipping' in the fuel rail on top of the injector #3. This may help explain the 'Low Fuel Bank #1' error code I get sometimes. Replacing the Fuel Pressure Regulator at the same time along with a complete new throttle body (cause I had one handy) and fuel filter. Will just clean and re-use the injectors as they have less than 2500 miles on them (came with supercharger). Killed the original engine when fuel went way lean and burned the rings, the original filter was so plugged that NOTHING was getting through (prior owner was a cheap assclown).

Now that you know too much (or maybe not enough, just ask) I'll go back to scheming...

yeah, I'm around from time to time. Busy tearing down the Alero for the new WOT-Tech cam, LIM, heads, and new transmounts/axles. Also busy helping my daughter get HER alero together and race-ready. Mostly just have time for one forum right now.

yeah this place has become a f*@^!%g ghost town. Im broke as h*!! right now, but still waiting to get rims/HID's/LED's/ clear side markers/ and some LEGIT mids and highs if I ever sell my 83 cutlass.

I did get a new sub box come to think of it... Ill post some pics tomorrow.

I'm lurkin'..now. Haven't been around in a while. Haven't done much to the 'bu so that's why. For my bday, I got a set of projectors for it and got those in, that's all. lol.

Hello. I haven't been on here in a long long time. I'll pop in and look around every now and then. I was surprised to see projector headlights are being made for the malibu.

Some updates on mine.

LIM gaskets again- the guy before did a half a$$ job and it started leaking antifreeze again. Its been about a year since that and it hasn't done it.

My CV axle shaft needs replacing- the car does not like me to accelerate during turns. It'll just rev up then i can hear a clunk sound when i straighten the wheel again to go straight. So now I accelerate straight, make the turn, and accelerate again after the turn.

Rims gone - I couldn't afford to keep replacing the tires on the 20's so I sold them locally. The ride is way better but I do miss having the 20's.

Air Ride taken off - I took it off a little after I replaced the LIM gaskets. The mechanic forgot to tighten the air strut mount properly so it was moving freely at the top, broke off a piece of medal and let the air out from my front airbag. Didn't have the money or time to buy a replacement airbag strut and since its my only vehicle I put the stock struts and springs back on. I might buy the airbag strut this summer (should be about 300) and put everything back on or sell the air ride kit, I haven't decided. I like the ride quality way better on the original gear but the car doesn't look as badass.

I really need to get back to work on it again but that means more money. I might just fix some things here and there and sell it altogether, who knows. I think we all have done a great job turning a very plain car into something worthwhile and exciting.

It has been awhile. I ain't dead i finally got internetz again so I will be poppin' in every once in awhile. Don't have the Bu no more some of you know but u guys are still like family. I will be in touch though.
